PASCHAL TRIDUUM AND OCTAVE OF EASTER 2017
April 11th, from 4:00 PM – a preparation of the church
April 13th, 2017, Holy Thursday, the day of the establishment of the sacrament of the Eucharist and the Priesthood. Lord’s Supper Mass at 7:00 PM (in Polish and in English).
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 10:00 PM
April 14th, 2017, Good Friday, the day of death of the Savior. Liturgy of the Passion of Christ at 7:00 PM (in Polish and English).
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 10:00 PM.
Good Friday is a day of Full Abstinence, which means that each of us can eat 3 meals, with only one till full (this includes everyone from 18 to 60 years of age), and is obligated to abstain from eating meat (this kind of mortification is for everyone 14 and older without an upper age limit). The Church however encourages, that everyone, who formally is not obligated to some of these forms of asceticism, will take it in the spirit of love.
April 15th, 2017, Holy Saturday, the day of silence and mourning.
Blessing of Easter baskets in the church at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM.
8:30 PM - Easter Vigil, followed by the RESURRECTION PROCESSION (English, Spanish, Polish).
April 16th, 2017, Easter Sunday
9:00 AM English Mass.
11:00 AM Polish Mass.
