Dear Parishioners!
This coming Sunday, April 12th, we celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy. It is a day of special graces, a feast of God’s love and forgiveness. Jesus promised that on this Sunday, “He pours out a whole ocean of graces upon the souls who approach the fountain of Mercy.” This is a time of great graces and the forgiveness of sins—take advantage of the gift of Confession and Holy Communion to gain a plenary indulgence. We look forward to seeing you in our community:
6:00 PM (Saturday) Holy Mass (Polish)
9:00 AM Holy Mass (English)
11:00 AM Holy Mass (Polish)
Relics of saints associated with Divine Mercy—St. Faustina Kowalska, St. John Paul II, and Blessed Michał Sopoćko—will be displayed before the altar. You will have the opportunity to venerate the relics and pray through the intercession of these patron saints.
After each Mass, we will pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy together, and after the 11:00 AM Mass, we will do so by singing the Chaplet of Divine Mercy before the exposed Blessed Sacrament.
There will be an opportunity for confession before each Mass.
We remind you that those in a state of sanctifying grace who receive Holy Communion on this day may obtain a plenary indulgence—the remission of all penalties and sins.
Conditions for a plenary indulgence: confession, Holy Communion, prayer for the intentions of the Holy Father, and freedom from attachment to any sin.
